Here’s what you need to know…
Visiting a new dentist can be very stressful, particularly when you don’t know what to expect. At IKON Dental Specialists, we are dedicated to making every patient journey as smooth and stress-free as possible, while ensuring that you receive the very best quality care, whether that’s from our general dental team or one of our specialists. We are well established as the leading referral centre in West London, and also accept patients who wish to come directly to us for all of their dental needs.
A new patient consultation takes place at the very start of every patient journey. This is an opportunity to meet our team, see our practice and get to know the services that we offer and how they can help you. Understanding the way that we work and the services we provide can be invaluable in helping patients to feel reassured and comfortable about their upcoming dental treatment.
Exactly what to expect from your patient journey will depend on the treatments that you undergo with us. Nevertheless, one thing is for certain. Regardless of whether you are a direct patient, a referral patient, attending for a dental check-or a total mouth reconstruction, you will benefit from the same skill, expertise and exemplary quality of care from our dedicated and highly experienced dental team.
We are pleased to offer complimentary consultations for patients who are looking for orthodontics, dental implants or smile makeovers, including tooth whitening and dental veneers.
Your consultation will take place with a member of our general dentistry team who will talk to you about what the treatment involves, and who will assess if you are a suitable candidate for the type of procedure that you are interested in.
You’ll be asked to make a deposit of £30 when you book your consultation. This secures your appointment with our team and is only non-refundable in the event of a no-show. If you wish to go ahead with your treatment, this £30 will be taken off of the cost of your treatment. Alternatively, if you are not a suitable candidate for treatment or you choose not to go ahead, your deposit will be refunded.
If you choose to go ahead with your selected treatment, you’ll then be referred to the appropriate specialist to progress to the next stage of your patient journey.

IKON Dental Specialists is located just a two minute walk from West Ealing overground station, which will soon be a Crossrail station. We are also just a 15 minute walk from Ealing Broadway, which is served by the London overground, the District and Central underground lines and soon, Crossrail. The E1 bus route also goes directly from Ealing Broadway underground station to the practice.
If you wish to travel by car, please note that there is no parking directly on site. Free parking is available within a 15 minute walk of the practice. We are pleased to be able to issue parking vouchers to patients undergoing treatment with us.
